Frank Barber: Assistant Dean of the Office of Technology, Learning & Innovation:  The Assistant Dean is responsible for establishing a strategic vision in multiple critical areas while ensuring the success of projects and services necessary for daily organizational productivity. Frank manages a diverse range of technical services, systems, and professionals, while maintaining positive collaborations across the SON.

 

 


Andreas Brockhaus​: Executive Director of Learning Innovation
This role strategically drives innovation through program planning, marketing, analysis, and digital transformation efforts. Andreas enhances the strategic capacity of OTLI by providing support across each of our four units, while additionally serving as a SoN consultant in regard to online learning and program development.

 

 

Key 2023-24 AY Strategic Initiatives

  • Consult with faculty leadership to outline a path to developing online DNP options.
  • Pilot a CNE program marketing initiative that can drive revenue growth.
  • In partnership with SoN IT, launch the next phase of digital transformation to enhance the value of Salesforce and develop new business processes for existing and potential stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation of OTLI units’ communication plans.
  • Develop a B2B strategy for CNE in collaboration with Elaina Robinson.

Elaina Robinson MSN, RN, NPD-BC​:Executive Director of Nursing Professional Development
Leveraging experience in clinical skill development, this part-time role provides consultation and strategic capacity related to nursing education and training within the Simulation Center and for CNE workshops and outreach. Elaina is also available as a SoN resource regarding nurse training competencies, agency partnership, and instructor recruitment.

 

 

Key 2023-24 AY Strategic Initiatives

  • Partner with simulation team leadership to recruit simulation educators, provide simulation training and support, and enhance existing and build new relationships in the local healthcare community.
  • Partner with CNE to revise and reinstate the Wound Management Education Program, including accreditation from the WOCN.
  • Initiate a community-based needs assessment with statewide healthcare organizations in an effort to align CNE offerings with existing needs in a business-to-business function.
